Reflection note
I would say that the most useful thing for me was to remember the structure of the five paragraphs essay. Since I fond of writing I was really glad to know a bit more about this field. In addition, I discovered such an interesting Internet source as Guardian. It turned to be quite noteworthy newspaper, and I found a lot of educational information reading articles of the authors from different countries. It was very entertaining to know an opinion on some significant worldwide problems from the point of view of people with other cultural values.
During the semester we were working in our own blogs a little bit, and I guess, it was not that necessary. As someone had technical problems with the website, I would say it would have been more comfortable to write essays or summaries in Microsoft Word, for instance, and send them.
The next semester I would like to know some new interesting techniques for writing. It should be pretty useful within our course.
There are some topics that my peers may find interesting to discuss. At least, I consider them as disputable issues in our modern society. For example, the ecological problem as it is getting worse very fast. Also the question of same-sex marriage: whether it is appropriate or not.
Anyway, I was glad to get such an experience in writing within this course.
